Evaluation

One of the goals of the Day of Private Reflection 2007 is to assess if further days of reflection should be held, and if so how.

As part of this assessment we will be carrying out an evaluation and we need your help to make an informed decision about future days based on the impact and response to this initial Day of Private Reflection.

We are therefore requesting that groups carrying out activities linked with the Day of Private Reflection in 2007 notify us that they are taking part, and how they are participating in the Day. If you are willing we invite you to fill in a short evaluation form after the day. The form will be available to download here shortly.

Participation in the evaluation process is entirely voluntary.

The Day of Private Reflection is offered as an inclusive and positive experience that emphasises a commitment to a peaceful new society.

The Day of Private Reflection is offered as a day for personal, private and individual reflection, for example, at home or at work, within a family, group or organisation.

Public events will not be a feature of the Day.

It is hoped that this initial Day of Private Reflection on 21 June 2007 could lead to an annual Day of Reflection, and continue to make a contribution to addressing the hurts of the past and moving forward as a society.
